Vai trò của doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ (DNVVN) trong tăng trưởng kinh tế rất quan trọng. Các DNVVN đóng góp vào tạo việc làm, khởi nghiệp và sáng tạo, cùng với việc góp phần vào GDP và xuất khẩu, phát triển khu vực và khả năng thích ứng nhanh chóng. Để thúc đẩy sự phát triển và đóng góp của DNVVN, việc áp dụng các chính sách hỗ trợ toàn diện liên quan đến kế hoạch phát triển, vốn, đào tạo và liên kết rất quan trọng. Trong bài viết này, tác giả phân tích các chính sách hỗ trợ từ nhà nước mà Singapore đã áp dụng để phát triển DNVVN, từ đó thấy rõ được vai trò của khối DN này trong tăng trưởng kinh tế của Singapore. Việc rút ra bài học kinh nghiệm sẽ giúp Việt Nam thúc đẩy sự phát triển của khối DNVVN và đóng góp lớn hơn trong giai đoạn tăng trưởng kinh tế sắp tới.
