55. The Design of a 2.2 kW Water Pump System Powered by Solar Energy for Irrigation of Rice Fields

Abstract
This study presents the design of a 2.2kW water pump system powered by solar energy for
irrigation of rice fields. If it is a sunny day and the water level is not lower than 1.2 meters above
the field level, this water pump system will work well. The system meets urgent requirements for
dry rice fields in the dry season, reducing farming costs, increasing profits for farmers, and
protecting the environment.
