OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR VIETNAM'S ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING FIELD IN THE ON-GOING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

This study analyzed some opportunities and challenges for Vietnam's accounting and auditing field in the context of the country's digital transformation. Based on the study's findings, some solutions were proposed to help the accounting and auditing field take advantage of opportunities and overcome challenges to sustain growth in the coming time. The on-going digital transformation in Vietnam has had a profound and comprehensive impact on the accounting and auditing field. The use of electronic documents and software to gather and analyze data has fundamentally changed the way accounting and auditing are conducted. Digital technology helps save time and effort, improves work efficiency, and changes accounting and auditing processes. As a result, it is necessary for state management agencies, businesses, training institutions, and accountants and auditors to implement synchronous solutions.
