A discussion on shrinkage-compensation methods in the construction of super high-rise buildings in Vietnam
Published: July 27, 2026
Abstract
There are many studies on shrinkage-compensation methods in the construction of super high-rise buildings. However, in Vietnam, the shrinkage-compensation for super high-rise buildings is still quite a new topic. The process of designing, calculating, and handling the differential column shortenings in high-rise buildings is often conducted by foreign construction consulting firms and contractors. This paper discussed shrinkage-compensation methods in the construction of super high-rise buildings.
