Factors affecting decisions of importing steelof Vietnamese enterprises from the Chinese market

This study investigates the supplier selection criteria of Vietnamese steel-importing companies operating within the Chinese market. The findings identify five key factors influencing purchasing decisions: technical capability, price, delivery compliance, product quality, and resilience. Among these, product quality stands out as the most critical determinant, highlighting its central role in ensuring consistent performance standards. The study offers practical implications for suppliers seeking to better meet the expectations of Vietnamese buyers by enhancing their capabilities and improving competitiveness in the steel supply chain.
