Bài nghiên cứu xem xét các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến năng lực cạnh tranh của ngành công nghiệp lúa gạo Việt Nam. Nghiên cứu đã cho thấy mức độ ảnh hưởng của 6 nhân tố đến năng lực cạnh tranh của ngành lúa gạo Việt Nam, theo mức độ từ cao nhất xuống thấp nhất như sau: Đầu tiên là Điều kiện nhu cầu của trong nước và quốc tế; Thứ hai là Chiến lược, cơ cấu và sự cạnh tranh của công ty; Thứ ba là Vai trò của Chính phủ; Thứ tư là Điều kiện sản xuất kinh doanh của ngành công nghiệp lúa gạo; Thứ năm là Năng lực marketing và Cuối cùng là Công nghiệp hỗ trợ và các ngành có liên quan.
